Our Statement of Beliefs

We believe that Salvation is God’s Grace through which one receives forgiveness of sins and all sins remitted. This is a product of Faith in the only begotten son of God. The benefit of salvation is highlighted in the depraved nature of man who was subject to God’s wrath and condemnation.

We believe that Restitution is making amends for wrongs done against our fellowmen, restoring stolen things to their rightful owners, paying off debts, giving back where one has defrauded, making confessions to the offended and apologizing to those slandered so as to have a conscience void of offense toward God and man.

We believe that Sanctification of the heart is a definite act of God’s Grace, subsequent to salvation or what we call the new birth experience. It is the second work of grace obtained by faith in the atoning blood of Jesus Christ. It is also called holiness or perfection. It is not obtained gradually, but instantaneously.

We believe that Holy Ghost baptism is the inducement of power from on high upon a sanctified believer. It is the promise of God to all meriting believers. The gift of baptism is usually accompanied by the initial evidence of speaking in a language one does not know how to speak initially. When a believer is baptized, the spirit deposits a gift called the gift of the Holy Spirit. There are such nine gifts: the word of wisdom; the word of knowledge, the gift of faith, gift of healing, the working of miracles, prophecy, discernment, tongues and interpretation of tongues.

We believe in Healing and deliverance.

  • Healing is the process established by God for the healing of sicknesses and diseases so that the recipients will continue in health. The process of healing was initiated through the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ.
  • Deliverance on the other hand is the gift of expelling demons from the body of victims. It is the casting out of evil spirits from those possessed with them. There are also sicknesses and diseases whose origin could be traced to evil spirit’s influence.

We believe that Evangelism is a ministry for all believers demanding that they go into the streets, villages, towns, cities and to the uttermost part of the earth to bear witness to the gospel message. The message is simple: to warn humanity of the coming wrath of God; but the escape route is pitching tent with Jesus Christ, the Saviour of the world.

We believe that the doctrine of marriage teaches that marriage is binding for life. Monogamy is the bible standard. No divorce or remarrying except for a biblical reason that must be thoroughly examined. It is a holy union between two choice persons (a man and a woman). It is a part of God’s plan for procreation and raising of healthy Christian family.

We believe that the second coming of Jesus is divided into two phases. The rapture, known as the taking away of all living saints is the first phase of Christ’ second coming. The Second Coming itself is associated with the physical appearance of Jesus as against the one of rapture that is restricted to meeting with Christ in the air.

We believe the new heaven and the new earth as a doctrine, exemplifies God’s willingness to terminate this present Heaven and Earth that have been corrupted with sin. A new heaven and a new earth shall emerge. The dimension is spelt out vividly, and its beauty is beyond human description. “And the city has no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof” (Rev 21:23) KJV
